This Edwardian style filigree engagement ring, wedding ring, or commitment ring holds a 4 mm FOREVER BRILLIANT Moissanite - a bright sparkling laboratory-grown stone that has a fire that rivals that of a diamond.
Moissanite was first discovered in 1893 by a French scientist named Henri Moissan. Originally discovered as part of a meteorite that fell to earth, natural Moissanite is incredibly rare. Moissanite as we know it now is a laboratory-created mineral composed of the substance silicon carbide.
This ring features an intricate design with cut-outs and Edwardian-style filigree that is both striking and comfortably easy to wear. The 4 mm, .33 carat round, brilliant cut Moissanite sparkles brightly, but is well protected from everyday wear and tear by the strong, sculptural prongs that accent the design.
Most of the sterling silver jewelry that is shown in my store has been antiqued, and then re-polished in order to better show the detail, but can also be created with a bright, mirror finish if you prefer. I am happy to create this ring for you in any size you need, including half and quarter sizes. Please contact me if you would have any questions!
