Ethical Jewelry Starts With Ethical Materials

Ethical Sourcing is the process of ensuring that the products made are obtained through responsible and sustainable methods. This includes concern with the workers involved in making them are safe and treated fairly and that environmental and social impacts are taken into consideration.

In jewelry, ethical sourcing effects two main types of items - metal and gemstones.

Recycled Precious Metals

As part of our commitment to environmental responsibility, our jewelry is crafted primarily from recycled precious materials. Recycled metals are refined back into their pure elements. This returns the metal to the same high quality as newly mined metals. The Precious Metals (Platinum, Gold, Silver, etc.) that we use in our jewelry is purchased from a United States refinery. We also recycle our precious metal scrap.

Gemstones

Ethically sourced natural gemstones are sourced in alignment with safe working conditions and environmentally responsible principles. By continually working with our gemstone suppliers to improve standards, traceability, and encourage responsible practices.

Laboratory grown gemstones are chemically identical to their natural "cousins." Lab created stones offer excellent value and are a responsible choice as they do not require the type of environmental impact caused by large scale mining.
